Wave pattern for four 76m SWATH-like hulls travelling between 20
knots and 40 knots in infinitely deep water. The patch is 500m
long and 500m wide. At about 30 knots (halfway through the cartoon)
the wave elevations behind the ship almost completely disappear.
The top inset panel shows the RMS of the wave amplitudes as a
fraction of the maximum RMS of all frames in the cartoon.
The bottom inset panel shows the (absolute) maximum wave amplitude
